3rd of March 2008:
Mygod! finally back online after moving to my new home. Anyway, loads of shit happened in the ENFORCER camp. First sadly bassplayer Willem had to give up playing the bass due to a chronic injury with his hand. The good news is Mous offered to switch places and it seems to work out for now, Willen will be playing the rhythmguitars as Mous will be playing bass. It's difficult and will take some time, but this way we can keep every one in the band. The bad part is it will slow the songwriting down as we firstg have to get Willem familliair with the old songs. As for now we played the Tilburg Headbangers Night gig without a bassplayet in the "old" line up. We destroyed the place thanx to the kickass old school headbangers who absolutely raged! Our first gig with Willem on guitars will be on May 9th in Belgium, check the gig section! We will be playing with our Greek friends from RELEASED ANGER.
23rd of september 2007:
Finally another uypdate! we've been working really hard writing new songs and sofar we have come up with two songs. One called "death from above" and one called "Merciless Silence" which will both feature on the new demo. A third rough songs is in the works too. We have two gigs coming up shortly, please check the gigs section, see you there!
5th of june 2007:
So our first two gigs with the new line up are a fact. In fact ENFORCER is fucking stronger than ever. We did a kickass gig in Katwijk with our friends from INCREMENTAL and we did it again a week later in Leiden. We got some killer feedback from the crowd and we loved playing again, a big thanx to INCREMENTAL, CALIBERN and SUDDEN! We also did a few interviews one with Dutch underground fanmag Violent Moshground and one on Metal links, please check it out here, thanx to Ronald! I'll do my best to upload a thumbnail gallery in the near future with some cool live and drinking pix and we hope to be back playing live again soon!
17th of April 2007:
An update! ENFORCER has been confirmed to play the Scum club in Katwijk on May 11th as well as the afterparty of Tilburg Headbangers Fest on september 29th. We are hard at work writing songs for the second demo, one song is ready and will be in the set May 11th. It's called "Death from Above". As it looks now the new stuff will be more agressive and faster than our previous stuff. We're very happy with the direction it's going now. Hope to be able to give you more updates on the songwriting progress soon! As it looks now the ANIMOSITY RECORDS compilation will be released somewhere in June.
20th of february 2007:
ENFORCER will release 2 tracks of our first demo to a compilation CD released on the ANIMOSITY RECORDS
label. Featured tracks will be "Slam Circus" and "Into The Ovens Of Hell". This will mark ENFORCER's first official release.21st of January 2007:
Hi all! no coverart yet sadly. Actually we decided to use the demo recordings only as promo. On request I can send you everything on MP3 for free. Most probably I'll put them up for download on our ENFORCER@MYSPACE Page. As for now we were extremely honored to receive an email from old WHIPLASH drummer Tony Scaglione approving our coverversion! We are hard at work writing new songs now and we have included a blistering version of EXODUS "another lesson in violence" to our set. as soon as we have two more originals finished we will be recording again. For now we have our first confirmed gig with out thrashbrothers INCREMENTAL, please check out the "GIGS" section.
24th of November 2006:
My friends! The demo is done! it's true! still no coverart yet, so it will still take some time till I can offer you the "real" thing. However I have set up a cool myspace domain where you can listen to two songs of the forthcoming demo:
If you like it you're more than welcome to add us on myspace or leave a message in the guestbook. We love to hear from all you thrashin' maniacs!16th of November 2006:
Finally a site update! good news my friends! The recording process of our first demo tentatively called "into the ovens of hell" is 100% complete. I am very busy cleaning up the tracks and setting the individual levels. We plan on mixing it this saturday and I hope to be able to present you a exclusive pre listen here on the site the week after. Not shure yet when the demo will be available since the coverart is still in progress.
12th of October 2006:
Mosh! Finally last week the vocals were added to our new EP material, I have played two of the leads sofar too. The sound is pretty good for a DIY production I must say. Next saturday the background vocals will be added to the songs and we'll do some slight corrections to the bass and vocal tracks. Hopefully I finished doing the leads by then so we can start mixing in two weeks! We expect the return of our drummer Joost early december! here
4th of September 2006:
A week ago Mous completed all work on the rhythm guitar tracks and did an awesome job. Last saturday Willem came over to record the basstracks for the upcoming demo. He fucking did it within one afternoon without even rehearsing one time with the band. This sadly due to our drummer situation. Anyway it all sounds very good and finally there's some progress. After I am back from holliday we will immediately start recording the vocals and the leads, then the mixing and we're finally done! Anyway check out some pics here
1st of August 2006:
Like always there's been some delay in the recordings. But I have high hopes that we will be done in a month now. Sunday we should really finish the guitars and Willem is coming along great in learning the basslines for our songs. As our drummer Joost has left for Colombia for 5 months after his graduation from university we have a KILLER drummer filling in for practise. Yuri Rinkel (AKA Y-XUL) of Melechesch and Thanatos has pounded his kit for the first time with ENFORCER last saturday. I hope to have some pictures up next week. We will try and finish 2 more originals and a coversong before Joost returns so we can do some gigging by the end of this year!
10th of July 2006:
Hi there! just a small update, I added the "Band" section, please not I still need to configure some of the .enforcer-metal.com e-mail adresses, so they might not work yet! Second! ENFORCER has recorded the rhythm guitars for 4 of the 5 new tracks, next sunday we hope to be able to finish the rhythm guitars for all tracks including overdubs!
3rd of July 2006:
ENFORCER finally took some official bandphoto's, please check out the pictures section. work on the mini CD progresses well, the guitars will be recorded next saturday!
24th of June 2006:
ENFORCER recorded the drumtracks for the upcoming mini CD this afternoon. Also it marked the first time bassplayer Willem joined the band at practise. All went very well and the drumtracks for all five songs are recorded and considering the limited means we had I think they sound pretty damn good! Look for some pics in the pics section.
22nd of June 2006:
As you can see pretty major layout changes, added all kinds of stuff, looks way cooler to me now. Anyway, I uploaded a rehearsal recording for you to listen to in the "Discography" section as promised. It's our cover version of WHIPLASH's "Stage Dive" from their 1985 album "Power and Pain". WHIPLASH is one of our favourite bands so the choice was easy to cover the first song from their first ever LP. ENFORCER will be recording the drumtracks for the upcoming mini CD next saturday!

17th of June 2006:
Just a small update on the band. Many of you might still remember ENFORCER as the beer metal band with accompanying image that we were. Late 2005 things got very quiet around the band, some might know we officially split up in August that year. Anyway, Chris and me decided to continue with a new band, same old school style. After a while we thought it was pointless to come up with a new name since the name would still cover the music. Anyway we searched a long time for like-minded musicians which we found in the persons of Joost (ex-Onheil) on drums and Mous (ex-Liar Of Golgotha) on guitars. Just very recently we found a bassplayer in the person of Willem (also in Violent Assault) who will join us next week for practise, so basically the band is now complete. The focus in the band is now on more serious matters, though of course we still love beer HAHAHA! We haven't slept in the meantime and wrote 4 originals while mostly abandoning all the cover material we used to play. Songtitles set to be released on our first official demo which will be recorded in the coming two months are "Beer Belly", "Killer on the Loose", "Into the Ovens of Hell", "Slam Circus" and "Stage Dive" the last one being a WHIPLASH cover. Please stay tuned as I will post some rehearsal recordings of some of those songs online here soon!
14th of June 2006:
Finally a new ENFORCER site online! I have been working very hard to master the art of webdesign. As you can see the site is still pretty simple, but I hope as time progresses I will be able to make it more pleasing to the eye. However I think this site has all functionallity I could want from a website. I hope you all enjoy your visit here and don't hestitate to mail me on all matters concerning metal and alcohol! Keep the thrash spirit alive!
